What is a Feeder?

An activity that feeds insight, ideas, research, knowledge, and other intangibles into the ideation part of the innovation process. It can be a push or a pull activity. In a push, people typically actively look at a specified challenge and are encouraged to contribute relevant ideas, while a pull is more about stimulating people to contribute ideas and being open to seeing where the process leads. It can be active, involving people, and passive and more research bases, including tech scouting, etc.
